create different notes. Examples of instruments in the string family include violins, 

cellos and double basses.

Tempo 
Speed of the music.

Woodwind A grouping of blown instruments that either use reeds or an edge 

to create a sound. Instruments in the woodwind family include the flute, clarinet and 
bassoon.
